OWOI’s vision is to create a forward-thinking International Platform for Progress, which brings people, institutions, ideas and resources together to address issues affecting our shared interests as humans towards building a more peaceful, prosperous, fair, secure and humane world. We live in a time of tremendous change driven by technological advances, economic disparity and the evolving nature of finances, demographics and migrations, geopolitical strains, global security challenges, environmental strains, social frictions, new technology. We face challenges that cross borders, and the solutions we build must do the same. That’s where OWOI comes in – to explore the most pressing interconnected challenges facing us today while encouraging development of solutions that can have tangible impact on real-world issues across all parts of society through international discourse, sharing knowledge, By bringing together collaboration, innovation, and diverse perspectives, we aim to advance meaningful public policy dialogue and shape ideas for the future. At the core of this vision is one unifying goal - that humanity remains central to all progress. That with advancements in economics and technology we continue to increase human opportunities. With growing concerns about security, we promote concepts of justice. As we seek prosperity, we champion inclusion and as we embrace diversity we drive cooperation, understanding, and a more connected world.

A Place for People to Be Heard

OWOI wants to bring you together – all over the World! It’s your opportunity to talk with other users on how we live our lives facing various types of challenges including those that affect us, our families, our community, country or mankind at large. An issue may start off in your neighborhood but quickly evolve into a National issue or even one faced by Millions in different Societies. Here at OWOI, you’ll find a better place for us to talk about these issues and explore ways we could work together to solve some of these problems so that we are able to make contributions toward Policy Formulation, Initiatives & International Co-operation. We hope that through OWOI, you will get closer to knowing how we think about the future – how decisions are made regarding our collective life and the role each individual plays towards shaping up what we believe will happen tomorrow. We also want to give every single user here on this platform the chance to share thoughts, provide suggestions, raise questions or put forward proposals aimed at informing future directions. At OWOI, we don’t intend imposing our way of thought, rather creating an avenue where diverse views converge leading to mutually agreeable solutions.

Equality at the Heart of  Participation

OWOI welcomes participation by anyone, regardless of religious persuasion, race, ethnicity, nationality, cultural origin, gender, socio-economic status or other personal circumstances. We aim to ensure all participants at OWOI are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve, and that contributions are judged primarily on the quality of the ideas put forward, rather than the status, wealth, power or influence of those who put them forward. At OWOI we want to create an environment where people understand that making a contribution is equally important whether you're a world-renowned expert or someone without notable experience and connections - a regular person might have great insights that could benefit millions and vice versa. We believe that everyone has equal potential to contribute positively if given the right opportunities and support systems around them.

Building a Future-Oriented International System

OWOI seeks, over the long term, to explore and develop models for an international system centred on human. where people – individually and collectively - are empowered by their inherent dignity and safety, freedom and justice, opportunities for growth and sharing responsibilities for co-operation with one another. In doing so, our goal will be to create constructive mechanisms by which people and societies may identify issues, share knowledge and ideas about possible solutions, work through differences of opinion, and employ peaceful methods of dispute resolution. We do not aim to supplant existing governments and international bodies, but rather than seeking to replace existing international systems, OWOI explores new possibilities to strengthen what works, address what does not, and advance more effective, inclusive, and purposeful international cooperation. Ultimately, as well as measuring progress in terms of economic outputs or technological achievements, we want to consider how far we have succeeded in helping people around the globe achieve enhanced personal safety, opportunities, dignity and general wellbeing.

Transparency, Accountability and Trust

Transparency and accountability are intended to be fundamental principles of OWOI's own operations. OWOI's long-term model will seek to provide clear and accessible information, transparent decision-making, documented procedures, appropriate independent review, and suitable auditing or verification where necessary. Stakeholders should have meaningful opportunities to participate, while secure channels should be available for raising concerns and protecting individuals' personal information.Where appropriate and legally permissible, OWOI may explore advanced technologies that improve the integrity, traceability, accessibility, and security of its records and processes.The objective is straightforward: people should be able to understand what OWOI does, why it does it, how its systems operate, and how those systems can be held accountable.

Leadership Based on Merit and Service

As per OWOI, individuals become leaders because of their ability, honesty, skills, contributions, and commitment to the society and not based on their country of origin, religion, ethnicity, sex, financial standing, or popularity, etc. Leadership should be open to all who have earned people's confidence by making contributions to the field, irrespective of whether they are notable or not. People’s recognition should not be the precondition for making contributions.While developing OWOI, it may think about creating systems which will help to prevent concentration of power too much and separating mainly the leadership from the process of policy-making and supervising, creating an independent judiciary.

Cooperation Across Borders

OWOI imagines a future where countries can search for ways to ease the imposition of barriers in all legitimate movements, education, work, trade, business, tourism, and cultural exchanges through agreements made internationally. An example of an arrangement already in place in Europe is the Schengen Area. In the Schengen Area, country members have eliminated the need for regular internal border checks while agreeing on external border regulation, cooperation in security and migration, and exchange of information.OWOI would promote the idea that countries should investigate and find out how the same principles could possibly improve the international mobility and cooperation.Also, OWOI firmly opposes any manifestation of hatred, racism, religious intolerance, ethnic discrimination, or dehumanization of any person.

A More Connected Global Economy

OWOI’s vision is that we are able to create an international economic environment where the exchange of our resources, knowledge, technology, investment, and opportunities is greater and fairer.It acknowledges the differing natural resources, skills, technologies, industries, knowledge, and economic strengths each region possesses. It aims to help us better capitalise on those differences by promoting more co-operation between them – such as mutual benefit from sharing goods, services, ideas, investments, and innovations.We hope to explore alternative ways for international commerce to be conducted more simply, efficiently, inclusively, and responsibly, including how best to foster entrepreneurship, private enterprise, competition, innovation, and social responsibility. Our aim is to enable greater access to the benefits of development by a broader number of societies and individuals across the globe.

A Future Shaped Across Generations

Younger generation - those that will be here when we make these decisions – will have to deal with the consequences for many decisions we make right now. They will bring their own ideas about what life should be, about how they expect things to work and their understanding of the world.We can still learn from our older generations’ experiences.Previous generations have witnessed changes, made mistakes, built institutions, overcome difficulties and learned lessons that cannot simply be replaced by new technology or new ideas. OWOI wants these generations to have a conversation with one another. It is essential for young people to participate in shaping the world to come. Meanwhile, older generations must have a chance to offer the wisdom that they have accumulated over the years.

Exploring New Ideas for Humanity

OWOI intends to provide a space where new ideas can be explored responsibly. Future initiatives may include discussions and movements relating to family wellbeing, social development, cultural and interfaith understanding, economic cooperation, technological innovation, international relations, and other areas affecting human life.OWOI may also explore experimental technological and economic models, including digital economic concepts, where appropriate.We will develop this initiative responsibly in keeping with our legal obligations including those on consumers’ rights, privacy, and data security as well as in compliance with relevant regulations and principles relating to sound governance.This initiative should not be viewed as encouraging the pursuit of experiments without limits, but rather in seeking ways that may support contributions to human wellbeing and international cooperation.
