Leadership Role
As mentioned in OWOI’s Global Vision post, “Why OWOI?”, OWOI is currently in its structural development stage, and no leader has been decided at this point. The future leadership of OWOI could be someone with a public profile or someone who is not publicly known. Ultimately, we believe that the people should have a meaningful role in deciding who represents and leads the system. At OWOI we think you are a leader. You matter to the world in ways that you have the power to influence, with your work, your ideas, your duties, and your human connections. We are also invited to think about the roles we have. Do we act in a way that benefits us, our children, our family, our friends, our environment and humanity? These are questions that OWOI believes are worth asking.
Voting Systems
OWOI may introduce a leadership selection and voting system in the future. The exact form and timing of such a system have not yet been decided.
We welcome recommendations and ideas from the public because the basic principle of OWOI is to explore a system built by people, for people. If a voting system is introduced, OWOI aims to develop a process that is transparent, publicly understandable and designed to encourage meaningful participation. The objective is to explore how people can have a genuine voice in determining future leadership and representation.
Vlounteer Roles
OWOI is intended to develop as a system shaped by public participation and contribution.
Participation and contribution can therefore take many forms. Individuals can contribute by sharing their knowledge, experience, ideas, research, or opinions on matters related to OWOI. Participants can also contribute in the roles of moderator, awareness, research, communication and other roles that may emerge over time. For specific responsibilities, such as moderation, OWOI may consider a person's contributions, consistency, dedication, conduct, and commitment before assigning a role.
The purpose is to recognise meaningful contribution while ensuring that participation in a particular role does not automatically imply authority or expertise beyond that role.
Charity
OWOI believes that helping people should start by understanding what they need, think about and perceive. At this time, OWOI does not plan to launch any charity project and request any charitable donations. We focus on building the platform, promoting participation and exploring future ideas. If we intend to initiate a charitable project in the future, the related contents and purposes will be publicized through the official channels of OWOI.
Roles We Can Play & Matters We Can Discuss
OWOI welcomes contributions from people of different professions, backgrounds, and areas of knowledge. Researchers can share their perspectives and use discussions and publicly available information to support their research, while economists can contribute ideas and perspectives on how modern economic systems could evolve. Students of politics, leadership, international relations, and other fields can also participate by sharing their knowledge, questions, and ideas in the interest of Housewives, mothers, doctors, scientists, developers, DJs, athletes, business professionals, teachers, artists, and people from every other profession can contribute their experience and points of view.
OWOI believe that everyone may be affected by something in their life and therefore, everyone should be able to participate in the discussion. We may discuss everything from political or global issues to broadening topics on societies, economies, authorities, governments, technologies, or other means of daily life. We can talk about the system we are living in or want to live in, think of changes that need to be made, the alterations we could dream of, and what may be possible. It should not be restricted to one profession, a specific ideology, or a particular issue, but instead, everyone should be able to share their views and ideas about the systems surrounding us that serve society and humanity.
